GitHub goes down again: Actions and Pages hit by major outage

Another major outage has struck GitHub, leaving users without key services — GitHub Actions and GitHub Pages. The incident began suddenly and affected a significant portion of the platform's infrastructure, triggering a wave of complaints from developers worldwide.

According to monitoring services, issues were observed in continuous integration and deployment systems, as well as in static site hosting. Users reported failures to launch pipelines, errors when publishing pages, and long delays in updating repository statuses. The outage impacted both free and paid tiers, pointing to a problem at the platform's core level.

The GitHub team quickly confirmed the issues in its official status blog. The statement said engineers had already begun diagnosing and restoring services.
