Evercade Nexus Doom Edition launches in 3,000-unit run for $249

Blaze Entertainment has unveiled a Doom-themed collector's bundle for its upcoming Evercade Nexus handheld. The limited edition is capped at 3,000 units worldwide and will be sold exclusively through Funstock at £199.99 / $249.99 / €239.99.

Pre-orders opened on August 7, with a full release scheduled for October 30. The package includes the Doom-branded Nexus console, a hard shell carrying case, a comic book, a keyring, a double-sided poster, custom packaging, and a numbered certificate of authenticity. An oversized boxed version of The Doom Collection cartridge is also included.

The cartridge compiles eight classic campaigns, featuring the original Doom and Doom II alongside expansion packs such as TNT: Evilution, The Plutonia Experiment, and both SIGIL episodes, plus a dedicated deathmatch map pack for local multiplayer. Evercade has added exclusive extras, including new gameplay modifiers, adjustable violence settings, and additional multiplayer modes. The standard cartridge will launch separately on October 30 for £24.99 / $29.99 / €29.99.
