Eartheye Space and IN2 team up to turn satellite data into risk management decisions

Eartheye Space, a Singapore- and Sydney-based provider of satellite data and analytics, has signed a memorandum of understanding with risk-management firm IN2. The agreement, dated August 19, grants IN2 access to Eartheye's multi-sensor satellite tasking and analytics capabilities.

Under the partnership, IN2 will integrate Eartheye's satellite-derived information into the daily briefings and consulting projects its research teams prepare for government, defense and enterprise clients worldwide. Paul Tilley, managing director of IN2, said in a statement that combining Eartheye's sensing capabilities with IN2's analytical experience in hard-to-reach environments moves clients beyond static data toward a real decision advantage. He emphasized that whether a government is planning sustainable infrastructure or a relief agency is responding to a disaster, the ultimate test of the partnership remains the same: decisions that hold up on the ground.

Eartheye Space offers on-demand access to more than 30 commercial sensors aboard partner satellites. Its automated AI analytics process data from optical, radar, hyperspectral, thermal, maritime automatic identification system (AIS), weather and greenhouse gas instruments. The company's platform is designed to deliver actionable insights across a wide range of applications.

Shankar Sivaprakasam, founder and CEO of Eartheye Space, told SpaceNews that the company was established to make space-derived data and insights accessible and scalable. He noted that by working together, IN2 and Eartheye are turning geospatial data into clear decisions for people tackling complex problems on the ground.

Initially, the partnership will focus on three key areas: infrastructure, disaster response and environmental monitoring. The companies will track construction progress and model environmental and community impacts. For floods, wildfires and other emergencies, the combined satellite data and risk analysis will help relief agencies and governments assess damage, allocate resources and plan recovery efforts more effectively. The collaboration aims to demonstrate how commercial space-based data can be integrated into daily operational workflows for risk management and decision support.
